About Gaz's Stuff:

Printer: My Epson Stylus Colour 680 is a decent printer. However it seems to gobble ink (which isn't cheap) and there is a problem with the design of it whereby sometimes it starts to suck the last sheet of paper printed that's in the tray back inside it. Therefore it chews it all up and needs to be printed again :( Also when using the USB lead to connect to the computer sometimes the computer needs resetting when I turn the printer on for it to work. I'm not sure if this problem is caused by the printer or the computer?

How to set up you PC as a server:
Get the server prog Personal Web Server 1.0a. Install it.
Choose the Directories you want to share by right clicking on the Drive and go to "Sharing". Next add the shared directorys to PWS Right click on the little computer Icon on the tak bat that looks like this:
Register at http://www.selfhost.com/ Get "shooter" program so you don't need the selfhost page open all the time.Put your selfhost username and password into the shooter prog. Now whenever you want your server running just start the shooter. The URL you need to give people will be something like this: http://gazuk.selfhost.com or If you want to let people see other hard drives and CD drives in your computer just add their drive letter to the end like this: http://gazuk.selfhost.com/D/ Make sure you have added this drive to PWS Administration first.
